G&B Tile and Plaster, Ltd (G&B) uses only the finest construction materials. We are committed to using the best materials. It is commonly known if you do not start a project with the best effort it most likely will not end on the best note.
In the spring of 2008 G&B Tile and Plaster (G&B) began using Universal White Blended Cement (UWC) in our pebble finishes. We immediately experienced improved work ability and pump flow of the material. Our pebble finishes turned out much better because of this and we were able to stop using any additives to help the material pump through the hoses.
For the rest of that year we decided to stock two cement products. One for our standard finishes and UWC for our pebble finishes. Starting 2009, G&B chose to only use UWC for all plaster finishes based on the advantages we were experiencing with the product. The decision to only use UWC allowed more time for our crews to work the material resulting in better quality for all of our customers.
Based on the success we experienced with UWC, we were willing to try the Sparkle Quartz series produced by the company. G&B had a great experience the very first time we installed the Sparkle Quartz. The material pumped and toweled better that any other quartz aggregate product we had ever installed. The finish looked great. It is now the single most requested product that G&B installs.
G&B offers UWC products because they perform better than any other plaster finish products we have installed. We will install other products, if asked, but find ourselves offering the UWC finishes first. As an applicator, I know if my crews have more time to work a material the end result will look far better than if they had to rush due to the quick set time of the material. This results in a finished product that looks great and makes the homeowner happy.

Traditional Plaster
White plaster is still the most commonly used plaster type. G&B uses only the highest quality White Plaster Cement. Many custom colors are available with traditional plaster.
Universal White Blended Cement. High performance cement that contains a patented formula of natural and highly reactive pozzalons. Pozzolans are found in geologic deposits and are an effective method used to improve the quality of cement. Increases strength and durability. Reduces alkali silica reaction. Improves resistance to sulfate (salt) attack. Reduces chemical attack. Reduces efflorescence. Increases workability.

Finest Finish Marble Blend White is not only strong but is also incredibly bright white. This mix contains gorgeous 98% pure white marble sand. There are no dirty specks like those commonly found in other pool sands.
Finest Finish Marble Blend Grey is uniquely different from ordinary grey pools that use dye or pigments t manufacture the color. Finest Finish Marble Blend Grey uses only natural grey marble sand that is ground down to a specific graduation to achieve this rich grey tone that will not fade.
Color Quartz
Color quartz is brilliantly colored quartz crystals that are added to traditional plaster. Adding the crystals will create a plaster with a hint of color, as well creating a color that will not be affected by aggressive water chemistry. The use of color quartz in pool plaster also makes the plaster stronger than traditional plaster. Color quartz is popular upgrade over traditional plaster.
Aggregate Surfaces
Aggregate surfaces are blended products composed of quartz aggregates and fortified cement. There are many different colors available. Aggregate surfaces are an upgrade alternative to traditional plaster and more durable than traditional plaster.

Pebble Surfaces
Pebble surfaces are the most durable plaster type. They derive the unique look from the differently colored natural pebbles. The pebbles are not affected by water in color or strength.
